By using different Windows programs you have generated a huge mix of metadata,
since the Windows programs only write part of the metadata and do not
synchronize all possible metadata fields. You also have different metadata in
the images and in the XMP files. digiKam can also handle the color labels with
text, you just have to set that these tags should be read first. Otherwise I
would recommend you to clean up and syncronize your metadata with digiKam. I
don't see any bug in digiKam here, I'll close the bug.
