I think you'll need to restart kdeinit5.

should be enough, but after an update that involves the KF5 frameworks and/or
Plasma components, or just a kioslave it is not a bad idea to log off and back
in again (or even reboot the machine).
Did you do that?
I'm more curious to know if you were still allowed access to your gdrive before
the update!?
