ProstMeister <colombo....@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |colombo....@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from ProstMeister <colombo....@gmail.com> --- Hi, I'm running on KDE Neon 5.22.2 (KDE framework version 5.83.0, QT version 5.15.3), and I have the same issue. The solution so far is to completely remove plasma-discover package and replacing it with something else such as apper (which apparently doesn't notify for pending updates, though). I submitted a post on Reddit to see if someone had found a solution, and I got in touch with another user who seems to have identified the path that leads to this bug: 1. enable the power off updates 2. tried them one time unsuccessfully (they weren't applied) 3. upgraded manually with pacman 4. disabled the power off updates, and since then, I have the notification on each login. Here is the link on the discussion on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/o0ao1u/restart_needed_notification_appears_after_every/ I also tried to remove plasma-discover via apt purge command, but it didn't solve the issue. The result of "cat /var/lib/PackageKit/offline-update-action" gives "reboot" also for me; also, /var/lib/PackageKit/offline-update-competed file is missing on my system either. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
