            Bug ID: 438043
Summary: Konsole suddenly stopped asking me for conformation on
                    multi-line paste
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: copy-paste
          Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org
          Reporter: php4...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

When you copy a multi-line text (such as a series of commands) and paste them
into Konsole, normally Konsole is supposed to issue a confirmation prompt. I
don't remember the exact text of the prompt, but it warns you that you are
pasting a multiline text and gives you two options: confirm or cancel. It also
has a "don't ask me again" checkbox.

This always worked until a few minutes ago. Now I am pasting multi-line texts
into Konsole and it's not prompting me for confirmation anymore. It just
executes the commands immediately.

I did NOT check "don't ask me again". Anyway I also went to Settings and
clicked the "Enable all Don't ask me again messages". I have also closed and
restarted Konsole. It still doesn't ask me for confirmation.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. copy this multi-line text:

echo "1"
echo "2"
echo "3"

2. Paste it into Konsole

OBSERVED RESULT

Executes commands immediately without asking for confirmation

EXPECTED RESULT

A popup should show up asking for confirmation, with ok/cancel options.

Used to work until literally a few minutes ago.
