These are deficiencies with Zypper's packagekit plugin. You'll need to report
it to the openSUSE folks who maintain it. However it is already a known issue;

IMO this and other related deficiencies with Zypper's PackageKit integration
make it generally unsuitable for use with any kind of PackageKit-using
graphical updating app. Zypper's PackageKit integration just isn't up to the
task.
