When using a size-1 clipboard, you probably want to check "Ignore selection" in
the settings window so that selecting text doesn't clear the top item
automatically. In a multi-item clipboard this isn't a problem since there's
somewhere to store the old top item, but not in a size-1 clipboard.
Does that work?
