Sorry about kodi - I was just thinking about another thing while reporting (my mind was not fully focused). Tried AppImage version - got no crash but the video playback is really slow and sound is choppy. This may however be another problem though as I am getting this for other videos as well (those that work with the native Arch Linux version fine).
