Strongly opposed to bringing this nonsense back. Changing the wallpaper should
change the wallpaper, not "change the wallpaper for this particular desktop in
the context of this particular display assembly, and the nowhere else." 

If you want to actually change the wallpaper, do it separately for each
desktop, then for each display, then for each display assembly, then also for
the login screen and again for the login screen. That was like a hundred clicks
just to change the damn wallpaper! Meaning it was basically *impossible* to
change the wallpaper for normal users.

Good riddance to this unmaintainable, gimmicky anti-feature. Now if only the
login screen, lock screen and all displays would obey the wallpaper change, KDE
will finally gain the ability to change the wallpaper.
