The key to reproducing the issue is that you have to clear all notifications
not by clicking the "Clear all" button, but rather by clicking the close
buttons in the main view until no notifications are left.
There is another report in Bug 435194. This one was filed first, but Bug 435194
already has a merge request that fixes it, so I'm forward-duping this to it.
