Hi Nate,
I upgraded to Kubuntu 21.04 and made a screenshot that shows the missing icon
for connected to power. Doing this I recognized in the screenshot with a large
zoom factor that indeed there is an icon showing the power connected/not
connected status. But it is not visible thus the percentage is in front of a
very shaded battery icon.
I use an UHD notebook display with screen resolution 3840x2160 - so maybe this
looks different here?
