Can you share a screenshot? I suspect that this is in fact the intended
appearance, and you've just gotten used to the fact that cursors are not scaled
properly when using scaling on X11. :) The pixelation could be caused by the
cursor not having enough sizes. They are raster images so they will get
pixellated or blurry if up-scaled.
