Always difficult to write "I cannot get it to do that" :-/
One thing to check...
There was a post in Bug 433204 flagging that baloo can hit a "max_user_watches"
limit that can be "ridiculously low"...
It's worth checking with
sysctl fs.inotify.max_user_watches
and watch out if you have more "folders" than the given "max_user_watches"
