Screenshot with selection rectangle

SUMMARY
On my windows 10 system I have selected a thumbnail in albums view.
On the right side "Captions" is selected.
After I have modified an entry of e.g. Captions -> Description I select another
thumnail with mouse.
Because of the modified description a popup raises up and asks "You have
modified ... Do you want to apply the changes?"

After pressing "yes" or "no" the popup disappears and now moving mouse a
selection rectangle is shown on screen. Please see attached screenshot.

How to avoid this selection area?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select a thumbnail
2. Modify e.g.Description of "captions" selected.
3. Select another thumbnail.

OBSERVED RESULT
After pressing "yes" or "no" of popup: "do you want toi apply changes?"
move mouse and the unwanted selection-area appears.

EXPECTED RESULT
The other thumbnail should be selected.
