Yes you are right, disabling PBI extension both on Firefox and Chromium solved
the problem, so PBI should first read "media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled" value
and if true it should no longer communicate with Media Player because the
browser is already capable of directly doing it.
Truthfully with media control removed from its tasks, PBI became not worthy to
be installed on browsers apart from download progress functionality that will
keep some users using it.
