Thanks for your report! I cannot reproduce (using placeholder clips). Can you
please update to the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment,
https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) or the nightly build and report here whether
this is still happening?
If this is still happening please try to start the appimage from the terminal
and provide the output.
