            Bug ID: 434907
Summary: Not remember the previous searched text
           Product: klipper
           Version: 5.21.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: plasma-widget
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: med.medin.2...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I found the idea of retaining the previous searched text and its results not
logical at all. If I type a text to search for it from saved items, then select
one of the result, so the selected item will be put in first row of the list,
and the previous searched text with its results become not relevant at all and
has no benefits to be remembered, because I can access the previous searched
item by selecting the first item in the list.

If some people find the idea of remembering the previous searched text with its
results to be logic then at least provide an option to disable it like what we
had in previous Plasma versions.

At least Klipper floating dialog does not remember the previous searched item
which makes it better (at least for me) that the panel widget.
