Bug ID: 434816 Summary: Pointer effect is offset from pointer location when using tablet, but not when using mouse. Product: kdenlive Version: 20.12.3 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: eltimbalino....@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 136972 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=136972&action=edit Tablet, then mouse, then tablet again. Shows offset between pointer and effect. SUMMARY In most windows of Kden Live, the mouse pointer and the effect of the mouse pointer match. But in some windows, notably the window where effects paramaters are changed, the mouse pointer and the location of its effect are not aligned. The effect of the mouse pointer occurs about seven menu-item-lines lower than the pointer location. This only happens when using the graphics tablet. When using a mouse, this is not happening. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select an effect and drop it on a clip, click on the clip, then move the mouse to the effects window to adjust settings. 2. Hover the mouse over controls and try to move them. 3. Hove the mouse higher towards the top of the screen and try to move controls. OBSERVED RESULT The controls change colour, and are able to be moved by the pointer, when the pointer is higher up the screen. EXPECTED RESULT 1:1 correlation between the mouse pointer and its effect. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Windowing System: X11 Tablet: Device 014: ID 056a:0374 Wacom Co., Ltd CTL-4100 [Intuos (S)] Tablet is being used in Absolute mode.
