I've been thinking about this some more...
It is suspicious that some of the cases only crash when you are quick enough.
That sounds an awful lot like a race condition in the code.
I've pushed yet another build to neon. Please update and simply try to crash
dolphin, `dolphin --new-window` (no environment variable necessary).
Assuming my theory is correct this shouldn't crash. If it does, please check if
the backtrace is still the same.
