Hi Albert,
Since upgrading kdeconnect from 0.9.g-2 to 0.9.g-3 I'm no longer receiving
notify-send popups but the notification entry is present in the plasmoid tray.
I have verified this on both my desktop and laptop.
Antergos Linux running Plasma 5.6.5, KDE Frameworks version 5.23.0, QT version
5.7.0
