The "Ignored" tag is virtual, assigning it does nothing. In the People View you
can ignore unknown faces by pressing the "-" button in the thumbnail overlay.
In the unconfirmed view, you first have to make the face unknown again in order
to ignore it later. That's the way to go.
There is no provision for unconfirmed faces to be ignored directly. Since
usually the unknown faces are looked through and sorted out first. The face
recognition processes this unknown faces pool, should be "cleaned up" here
first.
