            Bug ID: 434467
Summary: Changing certain particle engine settings causes
                    several gigabytes of memory leakage
           Product: krita
           Version: 4.4.2
          Platform: Appimage
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Brush engines
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: tomtomtomreportin...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When changing certain particle brush settings, Krita spontaneously utilizes
gigabytes of memory, which don't get cleared until Krita is exited.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select Experimental Webs brush preset and open the brush settings.
2. Slide gravity down to the minimum value.
3. Slide iterations up to the maximum value.
4. Observe.

OBSERVED RESULT
Krita starts using excessive amounts of memory. Continuing to change settings
or drawing on the canvas might cause an effective system lockup if the process
isn't killed in time.

EXPECTED RESULT
No memory leakage.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian sid
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0
Qt Version: 5.12.9 (Appimage)
