That kind of internal window creates problems for screens with small size, even the icon user selection window has viewing problems it feels slow and sometimes it shows the last line of icons completely and sometimes not, it's like you should scroll up/down many times to be able to see all content and the window move slightly to top. I don't know why this kind of decision to use small internal window for previewing or selecting images, why not to use big independent window.
