Damn, this is so annoying. Why is this taking 10 years to implement?
To add insult to injury, KDE 5.21 totally broke my "workaround". I used to have
a script executing "xset r rate" in my autostarts, but now it seems the
keyboard daemon service takes precedence / applies the value set with the
slider periodically, so I CANNOT USE MY COMPUTER AT ALL ANYMORE.
Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please fix this ASAP.
