Please see my post on this page for info https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430357 It could be beneficial for people with the scaling issue to post their system specs, as it could be related to certain Nvidia hardware and/or certain Intel processors, (such as the Xeon 2650 V2's I was running in the server pc). The i5 2500S in the desktop pc doesn't have scaling issues and only uses the built in HD 2000 graphics. Maybe the i5 supports something the Xeon doesn't? Also on that note, has Kdenlive had any previous issues with crashing when using dual processors, as I was running 2x 2650 V2's in the server.
