It seems that this report is related to a very old unmaintained version. A lot
changed since then and it is likely that this has been fixed (e.g. with the
effect cleanup for 20.12)
Can you please test with the latest version (20.12.2 at the moment,
https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and close this report if it is not relevant
anymore?
