Bug ID: 433481 Summary: Plasma widget objects doesn't respect highlight color of color scheme Product: plasma-integration Version: 5.21.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: h...@urpla.net Target Milestone: --- After updating to Plasma 5.21.0 and FW 5.79.0, I noticed a visual regression, affecting all QML/Qt Quick based widget objects on my Tumbleweed desktop, using Breeze and a custom color scheme. The highlight color is defined as yellow (#FFD041). It is reproducible with any color scheme using a highlight color other than blue (#3DAEE9). Select such a scheme, and notice, that the highlighting of "current app" and "current window" in the control bar, "application (start) menu", any plasma applets and any plasma widget in the system section still uses blue as highlight color (eg. sound, kde connect, notifications, ...). Most of these widgets didn't show this behavior before the Plasma/FW update, which suggests, that somewhere in Plasma/FW the highlight color is hardcoded/overridden. I cannot say, if the Plasma or Framework update is responsible here, since I upgraded both in one go. Sorry. It's also not a duplicate of #336775, since it affects all kinds of widgets.
