It looks like connecting to the share using Nemo caused Nemo to generate
thumbnail previews. Since the thumbnails are cross/app/cross DE, Gwenview knows
how to access them, once they exist. So it looks like the bug is in Dolphin not
generating these thumbnails itself when you use it to browse the folder,
despite the fact that your settings appear to be set up for it.
