I don't know if it's the same issue, but certain tools that can invoke the
color picker just don't show the color preview at all.
These tools are:
* Bezier Curve Tool
* Freehand Path Tool
* Gradient Tool
* Smart Patch Tool (though a bit unnecessary)
* Fill Tool
Honorable mention: The color selector tool itself doesn't have its own floating
preview.
