QWebEngine as an offshoot of Chromium is also affected by this. Unfortunately, there are developers who use embedded browsers to access user data or something similar. Therefore, because of security, Google is forced to prevent these browser frameworks. I think it's just a matter of time before we have to say goodbye to an embedded browser on Google.
