If you mean "find item" in "advanced search", "current view" doesn't exist. I
see only "search items located" in "albums", with a default choice "any album"
or other albums. The default choice comes back after each search. Anyway, this
search method is too slow for production, it can't replace a quick search in
current directory/album.
Example: I use everyday Midnight Commander, a console file manager. I launch it
in a console, navigate in directories with keyboard, go to specific image
directory, then in this current directory F9 -> find a file. A dialog box
appears i can choose options and these options are saved automatically. After
searching, if i do a new search, i don't have to modify settings again, i just
have to say "OK". It's very simple, it works fine like that since twenty years,
at least !
