+1 for this feature request.
Here is my scenario. I am doing a portrait in scratchboard style and I need
many parallel (non-straight) lines for this piece, and it would help if spline
ruler had the option to convert it to behave like parallel ruler, or it would
also be much better if it is possible to draw rulers and certain specified
distance from each other and the brush would snap to those lines.
