            Bug ID: 431743
Summary: SDDM doesn't communicate to the user what's going on
when the auth action has been locked due to excessive
                    incorrect password attempts
           Product: kscreenlocker
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu
                CC: bhus...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

After booting, I tried to log in, but for some reasons I accidentally typed in
the wrong password too often, however,
now even with the definitely correct password, it still said "Authentication
failed". Wth!

I then switched to anothet tty, tried to login and there it said something
like, "account has been locked due to too many failed attempts. You can attempt
to log in again in 9 minutes".

This information should definitely be on the SDDM login screen. ;)
