It seems that it does not work... I did the steps described below. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Create a blank latte panel 2. Create a blank plasma panel 3. Add an icons-only task manager to both panels 4. Add an expanding latte-spacer on the right of task manager in the latte-panel. 5. Add an expanding plasma spacer on the right of the task manager in the plasma panel. OBSERVED RESULT: On the latte panel, the blank space is filled by the task manager. On the plasma panel, the blank space is filled by the spacer.
