Bug ID: 431498 Summary: Tablet input KCM: Allow to map part of the screen or a single window to the full tablet area Product: systemsettings Version: 5.20.5 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 134778 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=134778&action=edit Screenshot: Setup I wish to use, where the full area of the tablet in portrait mode is used for Xournal++ SUMMARY Like in the screenshot, I'd like to use two apps side by side on a large 16:9 screen, where I have something to read on one side and note taking app tiled to the other side. Currently, the area of my Wacom Intuos M tablet would be mapped to the full screen. There's the possibility to map part of the tablet area to full screen, but I'd like to have the opposite map: Map part of the screen to the full tablet area. For example with some predefined areas, like half left/right screen. Kudos if it could be handled that way, that the whole window of a special apps can become mapped to the full tablet screen. This way it wouldn't matter how windows were tiled or arranged on the screen. The issue with the current state is obviously that for half tiling, only half of the tablet area can be used for the input in note taking app and thus the cursor moves more pixels / physical distance on the tablet, which makes it harder to write (in a nice way).
