After the last screenshot was taken, I opened it in Krita to write on it to indicate which file was which. That screenshot file was called "kritabroken.png". Then I closed it. The "Recent Documents" list now looks like this (note that "kritabroken.png" is the second to last. AVERAGE.JPG is a file that was never opened in Krita, by the way, and the others are in random order. Importantly, note how this is all random, and this is the *same run* of the Krita application.
