For some unknown reason my "konsolerc" set a couple of [Profile Shortcuts]
which disabled this functionality. After removing those two lines below
everything works as expected.
[Profile Shortcuts]
Ctrl+C, Ctrl+D, Ctrl+Shift+T=Peter.profile
