Same here.
Downgrading to baloo 5.76 (from 5.77) fixes the issue.

Doing (on version 5.77):
balooctl enable
gives the following odd message:
61924499171376643 "/home/username/" renaming "username" to ""
where username is my username, and baloosearch goes back to displaying empty
lines and crashing. It seems that baloo corrupts de index.
