--- Comment #2 from Andrew Chen <and...@xortux.com> --- (In reply to Alexander Lohnau from comment #1) > >Clear the previous results immediately after typing the first letter > > Not sure what you mean. The results get replaced as you type. Completely > clearing it would cause the window to jump around even more. I was thinking that clearing the previous results would at least prevent the previous results from being run. But yeah the window jumping around is quite undesirable. Although I'm thinking, if the old results are cleared, and the runners are searched in order of priority (like applications first), then the initial top choice will also be the final top choice, so it at least won't run the wrong thing? > >A runner for user configurable shortcuts that searches fast > Not sure what you mean, please elaborate :) A runner (plugin) module where the user can configure actions for certain things typed into krunner. For example, I would want to always run dolphin if I type in 'dol' and pressed enter. The idea is this would be a small list, and prioritized to be searched first, so it could give results immediately. This might be a more niche use case, but also might be useful regardless of this bug, for customized shortcuts to applications that don't always end up as the first on the list perhaps. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
