Bug ID: 430272 Summary: LXQt Applications Product: neon Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Packages User Edition Assignee: neon-b...@kde.org Reporter: geisse...@gmail.com CC: j...@jriddell.org, neon-b...@kde.org, sit...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Currently, on KDE neon, all LXQt applications, including for example lximage-qt and lxqt-sudo are impossible to install due to unresolved dependencies, which I personally find is a pity because those are also Qt applications which would fit well with KDE Software and I'd like to try some of them. I know the neon FAQ explains other Desktop Environments are not supported, but could we perhaps make an exception for LXQt? I think that would help this project because then more people would have a convenient way to use and test their latest released software. LXQt doesn't seem to have a great many of packages and maybe those could be added to the neon build routines without too much trouble? There already was a forum request about this topic: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?t=139293 It's just an idea / a wish of mine which has of course very low priority, but maybe it's possible to support LXQt on neon some day? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
