If you have not (manually) changed WallpaperDelegate.qml file and you are able to change wallpaper such I mentioned then seems might be something different in code which causes that works for you. Anyway. After yesterday test, when I restarted PC I got no wallpaper on my desktop. I applied mentioned fix and all back to normal. I set wallpaper with success.
