Bug ID: 429826 Summary: Plasma/OpenSuse Logout / Login crashing regularly Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: oliver.ras...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I regularly switch the monitor output and need to adjust the scaling (1440p monitor to 4k TV) and need to relog into Plasma. Logging out of Plasma and logging back in with the same user results in error 50% of the time. A full system reboot always works flawlessly. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Switch monitor output 2. Switch scaling 3. Logout and in OBSERVED RESULT Regular part or full crashes. EXPECTED RESULT Logging into Plasma SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed x86_64 / 5.9.10-1-default KDE Plasma Version: Plasma 5.20.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The problem seems to have been solved in a previous version of Opensuse Tumbleweed/Plasma (around 4-8 weeks ago) but is back now after an update. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
