I have steam installed via flatpak (linux steam) and via lutris (windows steam)
and they both show up as steam because the .desktop file specifies that.
This is an issue purely with installing the same software through multiple
sources.
The logic behind which one it picks isn't known to me but I don't imagine
there's too much in it, just whichever .desktop application is found first.
