Sounds like GNOME terminal is switching its ID after launch, which is generally
poor practice. We have hardcoded exceptions for well-known apps which do this
as a part of their fundamental architecture 9such as LibreOffice), but it
really is a very lousy thing for an app to do and we would much prefer it if
the app behaved nicely instead of us adding more app-specific workarounds. :)
So please report this to the GNOME Terminal developers. Thanks!
