SUMMARY
KDE5 (like 4) sometimes forces you to use KDE wallet.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Deselect 'enable the KDE wallet subsystem' (as non-root.)
2. Apply.
3. Permission denied.
OBSERVED RESULT
Permission denied. Lots of annoying pop-ups I don't use.
EXPECTED RESULT
If you give the option, don't tell users they can't: "don't give users more
rope than they need to hang themselves"--an Unix-expert professor/PhD
Mathematics who was a computer science (CS) department chair and studied that
when still part of Mathematics.
