Hi Kyla,
This is, I'm afraid, a problem on your system, and not a bug in Krita. Krita
does not have code to specifically support one tablet or another, but uses the
operating system's tablet support. You don't mention which operating system
you're using, but since you're talking about uninstalling and reinstalling, I'm
guessing it's Windows. Try to switching between Wintab and Windows 8 Pointer
API in Krita's settings in that case, or in the tablet's driver's settings.
