It does look better in my case (on a horizontal panel), as the widget is now
much wider and the network interface does not overlap with the network
readings. I did not test it on a vertical panel, as others have commented
earlier. Thus I will keep the bug open for the other people to comment.

As for me, the widget is taking too much space on the panel. I realize that
this was probably what fixed the problem reported here, but as it is I probably
won't be using the widget anyway. It would probably be more helpful if the
widget offered a way to configure its appearance. For example, disable the
network interface name, change the font size, make upload/download bitrates
displayed on top of one another instead of horizontally.
