The crash reproduced around 5% into the process. The backtrace is attached. Maik, you mentioned that we should expect some added debug messages right before the crash. However, I didn't see anything other than the "New Thread" and "Thread exited" messages from GDB right before the crash. Some hundred lines before the crash, there were a couple of errors about unknown image types, due to *.xcf files in my library.
