Seems that should fix it moving forward.
/usr/sbin/update-secureboot-policy --new-key
mokutil --import /var/lib/shim-signed/mok/MOK.der
results in Mok vars in /sys/firmware/efi/efivars/ and mok manager starting on
next run, this now also works correctly with a test ISO I've just built.
