(In related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426244 ) 1- Intall Virtualbox and create new viretaul machine with latest Neon image. 2- After installing VM, select installed VM and go settings -> Display > Remote Display -> select enable server and leave other options as is. 3- Login VM and run the commands below. You migth want to restart the VM just incase. a) sudo apt install -y xrdp b) sudo systemctl start xrdp 4- On your host machine make sure you have one of the applications installed for RDP connection a) Remmina b) rdesktop 5- I will use rdesktop for quick connewction fron terminal with argumnets below resdketop -u user_name -p password <VM ip address> rdesktop -u user1 -p password 172.16.1.50 You will see plasma loding screen then it will stuck with dark background forever ( screenshot attached). With 5.19.5 , i can connect at least but with 5.20.2 i cant.
