Copy & Paste of a vector shape results in a shape being pasted just next to the original location. This is a wish. (Note that the current behaviour much more closely resemble the raster pasting behaviour). (2). Vector Libraries groups singular shapes so they need to be ungrouped before editing. This looks like bug 426606, but for non-text shapes.
